Delyse Berry is also the Founder and Principal Designer of Upstate Down, where she has built a reputation for pairing exceptional design with an intuitive understanding of the Hudson Valley’s most distinctive homes.

Since co-founding the company with her husband, Jon, she has helped shape one of the region’s most recognizable boutique real estate brands.

Before launching Upstate Down as an independent brokerage in 2021, Delyse and Jon spent eight years selling real estate with Houlihan Lawrence as the Upstate Down Team. Prior to real estate, the couple owned and operated a successful retail shop in Brooklyn, where they developed the creative vision and entrepreneurial foundation that would eventually become Upstate Down.
Delyse specializes in architecturally significant homes, exceptional country properties, and design-conscious clients who value craftsmanship, history, and a strong sense of place. Her background in interior design allows her to help both buyers and sellers see the full potential of a property, whether preparing a home for market or envisioning its next chapter. She is especially passionate about historic homes, thoughtful renovations, and preserving the unique character that makes each property special.
Outside of work, Delyse finds inspiration in gardening, walking the woods and fields of the Hudson Valley, and spending time with her family. Her deep connection to the landscape continues to shape both her design philosophy and the way she helps clients find homes that truly reflect the lives they want to build.
