Lindsay Allen
LICENSED REAL ESTATE SALESPERSON
Lindsay first fell in love with the Hudson Valley while attending NYU, spending a summer at Bard College’s renowned theater program. Years later, she and her husband rediscovered the region and, like so many who fall under its spell, purchased a weekend home before making the move full-time.
When Upstate Down opened its doors, Lindsay became the company’s very first hire and has remained one of its top-producing agents ever since.
She immediately recognized the unique advantage of Upstate Down’s integrated approach to real estate and design, and has built her business around helping clients not only find the right property, but recognize its full potential. Drawing on her background in interior design and styling, Lindsay has a remarkable ability to help buyers envision possibilities while guiding sellers in presenting their homes at their very best.
Known for her calm, thoughtful approach and relentless dedication to her clients, Lindsay combines deep market knowledge with exceptional intuition and attention to detail. Whether working with first-time buyers, weekenders, or longtime Hudson Valley residents, she is committed to making every transaction feel seamless, strategic, and deeply personal.
Originally from Chicago’s North Shore, Lindsay has also lived in New Orleans and Mexico, experiences that shaped her appreciation for architecture, design, and vibrant communities. Real estate runs in the family as the daughter of a realtor, making the profession feel like a natural fit. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her children, practicing hot yoga, reading, and hunting for one-of-a-kind vintage finds at the Hudson Valley’s many antique markets. She often works alongside her husband, Solomon Anidjar, who is also an agent at Upstate Down.
