We had an absolutely incredible experience working with Hazel Kiesewetter at Upstate Down. She was exceptional from beginning to end, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better person to sell our home. What particularly stood out was the level of attention and care Hazel brought to understanding the property. We had put an enormous amount of thought and work into our home, and she not only appreciated the details, but really understood them. That meant she was able to communicate what made the property special to prospective buyers with a level of knowledge and specificity that was incredibly impressive. She was equally brilliant at communicating with us. She really took the time to understand how we liked to work and adapted to our communication style, keeping us completely informed without ever overwhelming us with unnecessary information. Throughout the entire process, we felt comfortable, confident and completely supported. And ultimately, she delivered. We got exactly the outcome we had hoped for, which is testament not only to how thoughtful and meticulous she is, but to how effective she is as an agent. Hazel is genuinely a 10/10. I wish i had another house to work with Hazel on, from the initial consultation to the staging, to a full offer within 24 hours of the listing going live - I could not imagine a better sales experience. I had the pleasure of working with Hailey "Hazel" Kiesewetter at Upstate Down when I purchased a second home (vacation property) in Saugerties last year.  Hazel was delightful to work with.  She is very knowledgeable about the Ulster County market.  She also understands the vacation home/ short term rental market (including, which towns allow Short Term Rental and which towns don't.)  I found this to be extremely helpful since I do not live full time in the Catskills.  Highly recommend!  I'm working with Hazel again this year to buy another property in the area.
